What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on a donkey for 12,000 KES for the purpose of water transportation from the source. Before GD support I spent 60 minutes to fetch 20 litres of water which I carried on my and could therefore only make two trips per day and which was very straining, yet I still had to perform all the other house-hold duties because I am a woman. With GD support, currently I use the donkey I bought to fetch 80 litres within the same 60 minutes and I do not carry any weight. I plan to serve other villages for a fee once the drought situation gets worse and water sources become more scarce. I also bought two goats for 6,000 KES.I spent the balance on household furniture for 28,000 KES.

The moment I received the first transfer, I felt very happy since I was assured of getting enough food to feed my family as there has been scarcity of food due to the drought and high cost of food because of high economy levels in the country.
