How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that l'm now clean and happy because I can buy clothes and smearing oil other than before when I could not afford .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to give money which I use to feed my children and buy household iteams.Give Directly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy cow at 700,000ugx ,bedings at 115,000ugx, clothes at 200,000ugx, rent pieces of land at 300,000ugx and stocking farm produce at 450,000ugx.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I bought a cow at 680,000 ugx and beddings worth 228,000 ugx. I also purchased some utensils worth 20,000 ugx and the balance of the cash transfer I am spending it on buying food and other basic needs for my household.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy that givedirectly had given me this opportunity. I am happy that they chose to help me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference I have seen in my daily life is that I now sleep on a comfortable bed in a neat house. My family used to sleep on the floor with poor living standards. We are happier now than in the past when we were miserable.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of food. This is because we do not have oxen to enable earlier tilling of land and planting.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moment is during afternoon hours normally after getting a meal.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means to buy oxen and ox-plough for ploughing. My family lacks food evey year because we do not have oxen to facilitate ealier cultivation and planting.
