How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am staying a happy life and stress free because I do not have debts unlike before when I used to borrow from any source available to enable me pay school fees for my children.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to start an mpesa business in the next four months using my merry go round savings.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I started a business hence I have daily income.I am able to pay school fees for my children with ease hence they are not sent home for school fees, this makes me feel happy.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to have started mpesa business hence it will increase my daily income.I will not have any difficulty in paying school fees and taking care of my children.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now able to get my children new clothes. They had worn out clothes and they were not neat at all. They are now very good looking.

In the next six months,I am hopeful that the business goal I have shall come to reality.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different in that I got ease when it came to loan repayment. My children also managed to stay in school after I cleared their school fees.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is, paying back the loan I took from an organization to improve my farm, how to care for my children by providing food and paying school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is,in the morning when I persuade my customers to buy groundnuts that I sell so that I can get money to buy food for my family.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend my transfer to, pay loan which I borrowed from an organization called One Acre fund. I used the money to buy seeds and fertilizer to plant and improve my farm so that I can have good yields.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is, I have struggled with my two children despite the low income and they are going to school well without any interference.
