What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer to buy a deep freezer for my business of selling chicken, I spent some amount to pay school fees for my child who is in high school. The remaining amount, I spent to buy chicken for sale and also food for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would not be owning a business which is my major source of income and I hope it will boost my life even more. Thank you GD for the transfer
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well in sending us huge transfers which enabled recipients to change their lives and also it is not a loan to be refunded back. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay school fees for my daughter who is in secondary school. At least she has been able to stay in school without being sent home for fees. Using part of the transfer,I have bought fencing materials that I am panning to use to fence my compound. Livestock will no longer be trespassing in my compound.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my daughter has been able to stay in school and attend all the lessons as she has not been sent away the whole of last school term as it has been the norm.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on payment of Secondary school fee (10,000 KES) to enable my child learn without interruption.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I jumped up high and shouted, until the friend who was walking with me asked me what the matter was, and because I did not want to reveal, I simply informed her that ‘’God had just remembered me” . Deep inside me, I was almost bursting with joy!

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I have plans of fencing my compound for security purposes and to construct a pit latrine, I'm tired of using the neighbor's.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I managed to move out of my parents in laws house to build my own home as the customary laws requires. Making such a step made me to be recognized by the society members.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am currently facing hardship in paying school fees for my children as economy has gone high and ways of sourcing for money are also limited and diminishing.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the afternoon hours when my sales go up, this is the time more customers walk in to buy grains to prepare meals.
