How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because l am now able to get money from the commercial house l built this has greatly improved my living standard as well as that of my grandchildren's. My grandchildren can now stay in school the whole term without being send home for fees.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal is to put up more commercial houses with money l am getting from the one l had built.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that l managed to complete plastering the commercial houses that l built and l am now able to get rent from them. This can allow me to pay my bills and also pay school fee for my grandchildren.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months l expect to have started building other commercial houses.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to to complete construction of the rental house that had stalled due to lack of funds( we already resumed the construction using my wife's transfer)

My life is currently different in that I got unexpected money
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I expect my life to change in that once I finish building the stalled house, I will market it for tenants, and make money .

The expected biggest difference in my daily life is that when I finally buy the cross breed cow, I will be able to get more milk for sale , and make more money, from which I will accomplish my other projects

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is growing up as an orphan.Nobody wants to support and one is seen as a burden.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening. To be specific, at 7.00pm when I return from herding and play with my grandchildren. They ask funny questions that am always happy answering.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend my transfer from GiveDirectly on buying a dairy cow from Eldama Ravine.This will produce milk that I intend to supply to Lakeland Dairy Cooperative society in Bondo for commercial purpose.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that am most proud of is venturing into farming using my retirement benefits.This venture has enabled me to educate my children and buy some parcels of Land after voluntary retirement twelve years ago.
