How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that feeding has improved, meals twice a day atleast, I sleep using a mattress, the money received has bought me a cow and a goat which can be sold when there's urgent need to solve a financial problem. Before, food was difficult to have, sometimes only one meal for a whole day, sleep using poor bedings, and I had no livestock as security for uncertainty.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well giving people money to acquire livestock, build iron sheet roofed houses, buy oxen plough tools, household items like mattresses, and the field officers give advice to families who conflict; there's nothing it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
My second transfer was spent to a buy a cow, a goat, bought stock of silver fish to sell as a business, a mattress and saved some.
