How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, I had the dream of buying a motorbike in order to run on a commercial basis due to lack of tangible job that could bring forth income. However, since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly I decided to save my money up to the third payment because I wanted to buy a brand new motorbike. On that note, I have not developed any new goal other than seeing my dream accomplished. Finally, after I received my recent transfer, I immediately rush to town to get my bike which I was able to buy. I am very excited to be self-employed today after been jobless for years. All thanks and appreciation to GiveDirectly for this financial opportunity.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has been doing well, from the selection process to payment time they have shown a great level of professionalism and transparency in reaching out to us the beneficiaries. They have done a commandable job. It is because of them I am self employed today. I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for bringing my dream to reality. In my sincere opinion, GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my long time goal of buying a new motorbike as a way of creating a job for myself and becoming financially able to take care of my family, since I started receiving transfers I decided to saved my money in order to accumulate the required amount for the bike. Happily, with my recent transfer I was able to add the money to my previous saving and I have bought the motorbike. Hopefully, with the income from running the bike, my life and that of my family will now change for the better. This thought bring me great Joy everyday. I am very fortunate to be part of this great financial program.

I was sleeping and my senior brother told me to go and check his phone. When I checked mine I saw my massage from GiveDirectly. I was so excited.
