Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to save money and pay for my school fees so that I can pursue my dream without any interference. Besides that, I am also intending to use part of my money as upkeep while in school to ease the burden of my parents so that they can divert their resources to something else.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Previously, I used to be sent home for school fees frequently. This really affected my performances but I had no option because my casual job was not generating adequate income. Upon receiving this transfer the biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to settle the school fees arrears and now I can confidently attend classes with no worries of being sent home for school fees and my performance has improved.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will be proceeding with my course work so I expect to comfortably pay my school fees and provide for my upkeep with the resources received from GD. This is a golden opportunity at life that I won't blow because it might be the only opportunity I have to make my dream come to life so I intend to utilize it properly.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I can pay for my mechanic course without having to depend on relatives to raise money to clear any outstanding balances..i do not depend on my parents. I can now look forward to having a way of earning income other than casual work in the village which only earned me little income. I can also buy clothes easily using the transfers and I am now more presentable.

I am more independent now. With the transfers, I have been able to pay for my mechanic course which will help in raising income to help in schooling my other siblings and help my mother in providing for the family in the near future. GiveDirectly gave me hope of having something to earn me proper income when all I knew would earn me income was always casual work.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectations for the next six months is to finish paying for my mechanic course to be able to earn some income to change my family's lifestyle. Once I have saved enough from being employed, I plan to start up my own business which will help in the generation of daily income for my family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago, I had no hope of ever making it in life. This was because I was not able to complete my high school due to my mother's inability to pay my school fees after my father passed on in my final year. Without the K.C.S.E certificate, I only saw myself as a failure because no one would hire me even if I was to look for a decent job. My life has now taken a positive turn since I decided to take a course on car painting which now gives me the hope of one-day getting employment or even starting my own business. This would not have been possible without these transfers and I am so grateful to GD for the charity.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My only goal right now is to complete paying the required amount at my learning centre before I can focus on any other thing. I normally make the payments using the monthly transfers, therefore, I know it will take some time to clear because the money comes in bits.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I decided to take a course on buffing(car painting) from the beginning of this year. This has changed my daily life because I am now very busy and no longer idle as I was before. I leave home quite early and come back very late which leaves me no time to engage in useless activities together with my peers which was the order of the day some months back.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I am expected to complete the course in the next six months after which I will be able to seek employment. I expect a great change in my life because I will be having an income of my own that will enable me to take care of my over-burdened mother and even ensure that my siblings stay in school and not end up dropping out as I did due to lack of school fees.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Since I depended on casual work and village odd jobs, I was not able to raise enough money to improve the status of my life. I could not depend on my parents for everything after they struggled to take me to school. I had to find a way to survive. I used to sleep on bedding I had in school because I never had money to buy new ones. They were old and my blanket was torn. This really caused me uncomfortable sleep at night, especially during the rainy season and I also had to borrow clothes from my friends anytime I wanted to go for a journey. Right now, I feel very proud because I have new bedding and clothes. I do sleep well and I don't have to beg anymore for clothes.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
As I continue with my course, I want to ensure I also take my siblings to school. I know the benefits of studying hence I will share the little i get to pay their school fees. I know once they are done with studies, they will get well payingb jobs to support me as I will also do to them.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving this transfer is that I am currently on a course which will help me geta job to give me an income. I am not idle anymore as I used to because I lacked what to do. After my secondary school, I did not have money to further my studies so I was just at home doing odd jobs for a living. Since I started receiving these transfers, I registered for a mechanic course which is completing this year. I know my life will be better after the course because I will be getting an income from a mechanic job. I really appreciate GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I want to finish my course so that I can finally start earning. I have already secured a place where I will work. I will ensure I use my yransfers wisely to pay both my fees and that of my siblings and come next year if all goes well, I will be financially stable. This will help me sustaing my needs and that of my sibling.
