How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I hope to have completed my house in the year to come. I have long suffer living in poverty. I hope the new year I can have a better life
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Five directly is doing well in changing lives. The money they are giving us has been a great help to many of us who never had hope for a better future. They can do better if they continue to seek more support and reach out to many others.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I would like to buy zinc, planks and nail to build my house. I have started buying the zinc and hope to add up when I cash out this transfer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I had to sent my children to Fish Town(capital of River Gee county) to complete their high school education because where we live, there isn't any high school. If I should benefit from this cash transfer, I will pay my children school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, what brought me joy was when I successfully completed the roofing of my house. My house was initially roofed with thatch which led to leakages during the raining season, but now, my house roof no longer leaks.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband is old and is un able to do any physical work, I am the only person the family depends on. The current challenge I'm currently faced with is, my children school fees.
