How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, I have been able to finish the construction of my commercial house which will generate for me money for my family when it's rented out.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well by aleviating poverty from the community and there is nothing bad that Gd has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy an ox at Ugx 1000000, completed building of my commercial house at Ugx 400000. I also spent Ugx 100000 on clothes and paid a debt of Ugx 100000.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference is that I am happy my incomplete house is now almost complete. This has been possible because of the cash transfer.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money I was very happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I gave my spouse 300,000 ugx to restock his clothes' business. I also spent 400,000 ugx to buy a metallic door and 70,000 ugx to buy a metallic window. I also bought some household items. The balance of 800,000 ugx I plan on plastering my house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Am excited because our house is incomplete, so we shall use this money to complete the house and top up on our tailoring business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When there is any good news like getting money.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Its actually so common with me that almost all my pregnancies end up miscourages. I only have 2 children apparently and 4 miscourages. So this has been the hardest challenge for me.
