Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I have a new goal to purchase a sheep. I am currently saving with the merry-go-round Which we started and we have been paying 1500 KES monthly with the other 5 members. After completion of the cycle, I am hopeful that the money I will be receiving will be good enough to invest in livestock farming and this will specifically be buying of sheep.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In our household, GiveDirectly transfers came with lots of blessings. This is the period when our family was blessed with newborn twins. Sourcing food, clothing and even regular visits to the hospital could not have been easy without GiveDirectly transfers. That easy to provide for in all sectors has been the biggest difference in my daily life in the past four months. I have never struggled too much in availing everything since with the support of my husband who is also a recipient as been so easy.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have purchased the sheep since the first round of our cycle will have been completed. This also calls for another extra call since all the money will not be channeled to buying sheep, I will take the remaining money to the school to serve as school fees for my children.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different in that I am able to meet the basic household needs without having to stress out on where I am going to get the money especially now that I cannot be able to do any casual jobs. I have also been able to pay back a loan that I had taken to buy a delight solar without fail. This has made me free from stress.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional plans over the next four months is to start a poultry keeping project that will enable me to sustain the income that I get from GiveDirectly. These transfers are going to stop in the next eight months and we are trying to find investment options that will enable us sustain our income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Four months a go I was blessed with twins. This meant that I had to stay at home in order to take care them. Life would have been too difficult for us if we did not have the GiveDirectly transfers. This would have meant that we were going to rely on my husband to provide all the family's basic needs as well as pay school fees for the other children. This would definitely have been a toll order for him considering that he also does casual jobs to make money. I have been able to meet most of the daily needs during this time and this has given me peace of mind.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect my life to change in that I shall have started a poultry keeping project that will enable me to meet basic household needs without much stress. We are aware that GiveDirectly transfers are going to be over soon and this has made us to think of ways in which we can continue earning the money and doing other family projects.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Before we would hardly afford to take three meals a day since I didn't have a reliable source of income. During lunchtime, we would only take tea. Since I got the transfer I get to spend part of the money on paying school fees and part of it on buying food. Now the health of my children has greatly improved as we lack no food anymore.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to buy a cow, we got one cow which is a local breed and thus its productivity is not good. I intend to buy a high breed cow so that I will get more milk for use and for sale.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Before, I would hardly get enough money for buying food and paying school fees for my children as I would only depend on the casual job for a living. My children used to be sent home for school fees as I would hardly raise money for school fees. Now am happy that they are no longer sent home for fees as the monthly transfer which I received from Give Directly I spend to pay their school fees. Now am happy seeing my children being in school like others as they can now concentrate on their studies.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to buy a cow so this will, therefore, produce enough milk for the family and I will thus save the money I would have otherwise used to buy milk.
