How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is that I am now able to get enough money from my rental house after I plastered all of them as compared to before when I was getting very little money that could not even sustain my family. I am also now very sure and proud that I will put up my own home and stay in a very comfortable home, this will prevent my from having conflicts with my tenants.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion what Give directly did very well was by giving people enough money that could able to change somebody's life. They also did a very good thing by giving people money since people have different priorities to attend to.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of the transfer to plaster my rental houses which were dusty and was really paying low. This could not sustain my family as much as I was proud landlady. I thought of how I could improve the houses, so I deceded to plaster all of them and from there I rise the rent which I am now getting good money as compared to before. I able to get enough money to sustain my family without any difficulties. The remaining balance I saved in the back account as I am planing to go and put up my house in my own compound. I am currently staying in my rental house where I do not feel comfortable because I am staying in the same compound with may tenants. Once I managed to put up my house I will relocate and rent out the house I am staying in and get more money to catter for my family needs.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference is that as a family we now own a piece of land and the title deed has already been handed over to us. We are hopeful that we will built our home there once the resources are available.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer, I informed my husband and together we said a prayer giving thanks to God for remembering us and answering our prayer for we were in need of the money at that particular time.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received my transfers, I consulted with husband and we decided to purchase a piece of land. Currently, we have built our house next to our sugarcane farm. As a family, we decided to purchase land away from the farm where we can build a better house with a more spacious compound.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means a great relief because I had a bank loan and it will help me sort the loan and be able to gain credit worthiness so that I may continue borrowing and invest in farming because for us its farming that we entirely depend on.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is usually in the evening as I have a break from dounting farming work, being in the field bearing harsh weather conditions can be so hard and evening break comes with such a refreshing relief.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced was loosing my sugarcane farm to arsonist that burnt down mu sugarcane before maturity yet the money I invested was borrowed cash. This has led to great stress to the family for we have to service the loan anyway.
