What did you spend your third transfer on?
I had a daughter who was not doing well in school and therefore when I received my third transfer, I enrolled her in a private school-a better one and paid for her the whole of 2 years fees. I am glad that her perfomance has improved since then and I expect her to pass her primary school certificate exams with flying colors in the near future.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying iron sheets which I will be using on building a bigger and more spacious house. I then bought a new sofa set since I did not have enough seats in my house. I then spent the rest of the transfer on buying food for my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying workers to cultivate my parcel of land and bought shoes for my child. I also paid fees for my child who is in a private school and used most of the amount on purchasing a bag of maize to sustain the family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I was very happy. I was doing some casual job and promised the pay after some days which made me very dissapointed but after some minutes I got a message and realized that GiveDirectly had sent the money. I could not hide my joy because I knew that I would be able to pay my child's fees.
