Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I am planning to save part of my monthly transfers and use the savings to join college. I want to study electrical wiring as it is my passion and with added knowledge, I am certain of growing in that area. After that, I know I will get a good job which will pay well to help me sustain my needs comfortably.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I spent my transfer on paying school fees arrears for my children so that they may not be sent home for the same. Before the transfers, they would be sent home regularly and I did not want a repeat of the same after getting my transfers. Before the transfers, I used to spend at my brother's house because I did not have my own. This is why I used my transfers to buy building materials which I used to finish constructing my own house. Right now I am independent and I have some privacy now that I have my house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I am certain that I will college since I will have saved enough to pay for college fees needed for joining. As I continue getting my transfers monthly, I will be using them to pay my fees. The rest of the transfers I will use for my upkeep while in college. By the time the transfers will be coming to an end, I will have finished the course I plan to study.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There is a difference in diet in my house since we can now afford to buy food easily without so much strain. Moreover, we are able to buy a variety of food on a daily basis, something that we could rarely achieve in the past. I will also be able to finish up my house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to be different because I will buy livestock that I will sell at will when I am financially incapacitated.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I saw a big difference in my life when I was able to plaster my house which was not finished. My house was initially plastered using cow-dung but I changed all that by using cement to plaster the entire house.
