Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have been using my transfers from Give Directly on farming majorly in planting grafted mangoes and pineapples. I decided to invest in them because they do well in our areas and their market is also readily available. I also got encouraged since I saw one of our neighbors doing the same and she managed to get good returns.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am living a hopeful life. I thank Give Directly because I am able to buy basic needs with a lot of ease hence we are staying a happy life. Before I started receiving money from Give Directly we used to go without food and this resulted to a lot of disagreements between my wife and I. Which is not the case today
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to get a bumper harvest since after investing all my transfers on my farm. Farming is the source of my livelihood and that is why I concentrate a lot to ensure I get a bumper harvest. How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it was four months ago because currently, I'm peaceful and there are no more any quarrels between my spouse and I. Previously, we could quarrel a lot whenever I couldn't provide for the family. I'm glad through the GD transfers I'm able to comfortably afford the family's needs. In addition to that, I have been using the transfers to meet the expenses of mango plantations project which I started recently and I believe that in the future after harvesting I'll earn more income from it.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I recently started a mango farming project but it hasn't stabled yet, I still have to invest more in it so that it can grow bigger. Therefore, for the next four months, I have an additional goal to save the coming transfers so that I can purchase an electric water pump which I'll be using to pump water to the farm. This will relieve me from the struggles of manually watering the plantation which is time-consuming and hectic.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the peace of mind I have been experiencing. Previously, it was a challenge to raise money for my family's meals which gave me a lot of worries and most of the time we could quarrel with my spouse because I couldn't provide for the family. I'm glad through the GD transfers I have been able to comfortably meet the family's needs.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I have the plans to add more mango seedling so that I can have a large farm because I'm targeting to supply the mangoes in various regions across the country. Hopefully, in the next six months, the mango project which I'm currently working on will have developed and grown bigger.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from the way it would have been had I not received the transfers in that I'm no longer stressed thinking of how to raise money to meet the household needs. Before the transfers, I would struggle to make ends meet for my family and in most cases, I would be forced to go for casual work to ensure my family needs are met. Ever since I started receiving the transfer, the struggle has reduced significantly. Apart from that, I have also been able to expand my the mango farm which I know will help me solve most of my major financial problems after the sale of the mangoes.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
For the next four months of my life, I have an additional goal of starting up a tree nursery. I plan to sell part of the nursery and the rest I sell later when they have matured. This will enable me to earn an additional source of income to help me provide for my family well. It will be an additional income to the mangoes farming which is my only source of income.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been able to expand my mango farm with the previous transfers by leasing in a piece of land which I use for mango farming. There has been a great improvement in my life from the income I get from mango harvest. I am hoping for an improved harvest from the farm thus enhancing my income from the sale. I have also been able to borrow some household goods in the nearby shopping centers with a lot of confidence knowing that I'll be able to pay for them at the end of the month. This is because I am sure I will get my transfers in time to pay up.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months of my life, I expect to have started poultry farming. This will happen after the tree nursery has picked up. The income I will get from the sale of the tress will be my capital for the poultry business. I have always dreamt of having this business which I know will earn me a good income putting an end to my hard labor.
