What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to paint my house both from inside and outside. Paid my son in high school fee. I invested a portion of the transfer in farming activities. I bought a goat and 3 chicken. Besides, I purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now live in a house which I've never imagined I'll live in. It is a wonderful house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GD does well is that it directly uplift the livelihood of the poor. I have a feeling that GD should at least get us monthly pay.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent all my transfer on leasing a farm,cultivating it and buying farm fertilizers. I have done large scale farming and hoping for a good harvest in the next season.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so excited and lifted from my finacial burdens. At that moment, I was worried of where to get money to spend on farming. Thanks to GD for anabling me to achieve my farming goals.

We have planned to plaster my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Our proudest achievement is that we took our children to school and some have certificates. They have small jobs on which they depend on.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship was when my wife had a miscarriage which affected her health up to now.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of our day is when we are farming and we get a good harvest.
