How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to establish business for my wife. I want my wife to start selling petty business because we are old and are not physically fit do any hard work. I am planning for my wife to start sell food stuffs business on table. Thanks to Givedirectly for the cash support. I believe that when I invest some of my transfer in to making business, I will no longer experience financial difficulties in the future.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly cash support actually helped to change our community look. Now it is difficult to see thacth houses in this village because of Givedirectly intervention. Everyone in this village are usjng zinc over their houses rather than thacth . Givedirectly system of work is transparent and no receiving gift from community. Thanks to Givedirectly for the support. There is no system in GiveDirectly that needs improvement.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used my most recent transfer to buy 8 bags of cement to complete the plastering of my house and used some of the transfer to pay my children school fees . I have been challenged with paying my children school fees. The balance money was kept in to saving to start selling. Thanks to Givedirectly for the kind gesture. I believe that with my transfer from Givedirectly, my dream to live a better life will soon come to pass.
