How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes! Since I used the first and second transfers to paid my son tuition at the Tubman university. So I decided to used the remaining transfers to start up a new provision business that will enable us to better our lives.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well for me by providing and paying my son fees. With their help, I'm a owner of a large potion of land where I can grow my corn, plantain, pepper, bitterball and many more. My son is free of fees this semester, I have enough to eat and cater to my children needs. Every time I close my eyes, I sing praises to Givedirectly and thank God for blessing us through this program. They've satisfied me and nothing has gone wrong since I became a beneficiary.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I withdraw the money, I will buy few cartoons of soap, both washing and bathing soap, a barrel full of pig feet. As a poor widow with two kids, this cash transfers will help me financial to substain me and my family.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sweeping the yard when I heard the phone beeping I hurriedly picked the phone but I didn't know what was it, I asked my daughter in law who came to speak to me to read the message, she told me it the money Givedirectly promised you. I was so happy, I started singing and dancing telling God thank you for Givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My late husband and I was involved with farming, but since he passed away things has not been easy for me. No one to help farm for me but since this money came I have decide to hire laborers to farm for me so that this farm can be a help to me.

I bought One 25kg bag of rice $2800, bought goods to sell, paid my child school fees in Tubman University and paid laborers to brushed my farm for planting crops.

"I want to start a small business with the cash I'm going to received. And want to buy a household materials to recondition my house."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"In the last six month my last born graduated from high school and was unable to further is education because of no cash, praying every night and day God have heard my prayers and my church pastor was able to send him to University and carry my son To Harper to further his education at the TU University."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Some of the challenges I'm face with now is money. I used to make fine and have some food to eat for the day since this year I'm unable to make farm due to lack of money and this have really trouble me because I don't have sufficient to eat."
