How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is better because I have constructed an iron roofed house which is safer and decent . I now own livestock which will enable me pay dowry for my new wife and I will become a complete and happy man. Prior to receiving the transfer I was sleeping in a hut with the leaky roof, I had so many pressing needs and my mind was not at peace.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give me money, I had many challenges that I wouldn't have overcome without these transfers. They speak to us with good customer care during face to face or phone interviews. There is completely nothing that they have not done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for buying materials that I used for constructing an iron roofed house. I also paid the builders and purchased some food for them.
