What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my most of my third transfer to buy livestock for rearing and also because I did not have livestock and the remaining amount, I spent to buy food for my family.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have a bigger house compared to the one I was living and also I have livestock which I never thought I could own. This would not have happened if I did not receive the transfers
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has uplifted the living standards of the recipients in our community through cash transfers. I have not seen anything that Gd did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to built a new house of 30 pieces of iron sheet since my previous house was of 6 pieces of iron sheets.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that now I have a new big house that accommodate us well with my family.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy bedding and a bed. I used to sleep on the floor on a mat.Thanks to GD.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
When i get the upcoming transfer,i will use it to buy a cow for milking. I will also buy clothing for my children using part of the transfer.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy sand, lime, timber, round poles, nails, cement and iron roofing sheets which I will use to build a better house for my family. The remaining transfers will be used to buy a dairy cow which will provide my family with milk and I can also sell the surplus milk.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having planted coffee trees when I was young, the coffee trees have been a major source of income for me and the money that I get from selling the coffee berries has provided sustenance for my family over the years.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face right now is lack of enough money to pay school fees for my children who are in secondary and primary schools, if I am unable to raise the required fees they may drop out of school or have to defer their studies.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is around midday, this is because I usually have finished some odd jobs and earned some money which I then use to buy food for my family.
