How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improve so much, my house has been in bad shape for quite some time and we have struggling to sleep especially during rainy season and now we can sleep in peace and we also have enough food for all of my family. We are able to eat three times a day.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I believe Givedirectly is conducting all of its process very well and i can not complain on any aspect.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was really happy when i received a message of the cash transfer. I was in poverty. The transfer rescued me.

Now am table to eat and sleep on matress. I will also be able to sleep in iron roof

I bought 24 iron sheets. Matress and 3 bags of maize for food. I also bought blankets for my kids and myself.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money will be used to buy iron sheets,food and clothes. It will also enable my school going kids to afford groceries and uniform.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evenings since I have time to chat with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I usually get sick mysteriously at times and I have been failing to advise my kids properly to got school as many dropped out.
