Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home when I saw the mobile money massage in my phone. I began to share tears and give thanks to God for what he has done for my family and I through the help of giveDirectly. I raised my hands in the air and sang praises to God and alao gave thanks to GiveDirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since the death of my husband, life has been difficult for my five children and I. But through the help of GiveDirectly, our lives have changed. My children are in school and I'm about to build a decent house in this village for my family and I. This is my biggest joy.

I used the money to buy two bundles of zinc, three packs of nails, and twenty five pieces of plank. I also used the balance money to pay five of my Children's schools fees.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Since three years ago I built this thatch house, it has massively been leaking on me and my only son which caused us sleepless nights and mockery from others who have better places so upon receiving this money,I will build a very new one with curagated sheets so that we too can have a good living place.
What is the happiest part of your day?
When I take my banana on the roads for sale and portion is bought even though it's not enough,I can be able to buy food for my son and I which makes me happy and as well send a little portion to my other children in fish town for school fees.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My greatest challenge at the moment is the thatch house that leaks on me and my son when it rains and it doesn't have doors which poses security threats to me and my family but I don't have money to solve those nightmares so I just have to live with it.
