How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because my dressing has improved, am proud of having seats to take care of visitors, and I am very happy person.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well improving people's livelihoods by giving money to acquire lighting solar panels, livestock, build houses and clothes, people now dress better than before; I don't see anything it hasn't done well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I haven't spent my second transfer yet, but I intend to buy two bulls to help me with ploughing gardens.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is ease of movement since i repaired the bicycle which also helps me to collect water, and am able to do some things which was difficult without money.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i recieved my money, i felt so happy that i decided to withdraw after two days, because i was difficult to believe i had received such an amount of money.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy a cow, oxen plough, a hoe, a panda, a pair of gumboots, a small solar panel to help with lighting at night, woden chairs with a table, bought spare parts to repair my old bicycle, gave my spouse 400,000ugx to solve his personal problems, and i've saved some to help me harvest my millet.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of money to cater for my son's educational needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evening is my happiest part of the day.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means paying debts that i incured when i was buying a plot of land for my family within Kalapata Village.
I also intend to use this money to buy a bicycle for my children to use for fetching water.
