How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to complete my house that I am building through Givedirectly support assistance before the end of this year 2022.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirect make me not to remain outside because I don't have money to rent. as a single mother.
It came to a time when the man who have the house I was living in gave me three days to move from his house.
It was Givedirect support that took me from outside and today I have a house, even though not yet completed, but I have a place to lay down and no one will ever give me notice to vacate the premises again.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt happy because, my living condition was not good . So l believe that this money will change my condition.

In the past years, l was suffering and I can't afford money for my children and I. But now, through give directly, l am planning to build my own house. My children and I will live a happy life together in our own house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I received the cash transfer I plan to build another house for my kids and I to stay, presently the house we are living is not safe for us because part of it has broken and the little side we are managing is almost falling, I always have sleepless night because it worries me about the safety of my children and myself. It has been my dream to build another house but due to financial constrain I have not been able to do so.
What is the happiest part of your day?
During the 26 of July I was worry about finding food for my kids and myself but when my sister brought us few cups of rice for.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges I'm face with is financial constrain. My only source of income is from the coal making, at times I find it difficult to cut wood and produce the coal because I'm a lady. Right now my 3 children were left with me and their father left me
