How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I hope that with God's grace I will have a nice home, and my cow for milk consumption and for my life to be better so that I don't have to break my back working so hard to make ends meet as I have done in the past. I want to have my own business and not work petty jobs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I understood everything well, and very grateful to give directly for changing my life, I will not misuse my transfer. I would say to be helped again but I can not dictate as it's up to you and your ability to help the people.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought land in mbale of 3 million, iron sheets, paid my children's school fees and foodstuffs.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so happy because give directly had fulfilled what it had promised and I thought of everything I wanted to do with the money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My family is happy now, the cow I bought gives them milk for consumption, I took my children back to school who had been sent home for fees defaults.

I bought a cow, constructed a shed for the cow, and he's planning to set up a kitchen and renovate his house.

I WILL LOOK FOR A BETTER PLACE, CONSTRUCT A HOUSE AND LEAVE THIS HOME AND GOD WILLINGLY IF I STILL HAVE A BALANCE I WILL EITHER BUY A GOAT OR HENS, I WILL USE THERE MANURE IN MY BANANA PLANTATION

I WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY BECAUSE I WAS EXCITED THAT I WAS GOING TO HARVEST COFFEE BEANS BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS ALL SWEPT BY THE LANDSLIDE

I DO WORK BUT STILL FACING A CHALLENGE OF POVERTY, THE OTHER CHALLENGE IS I HAVE A FAMILY BUT I HAVE NO SPOUSE WHO TAKES CARE OF THE HOME
