What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to buy fishing equipment like nets, some of the money I will use to pay dowry to my dead spouse's parents, because in our culture children are only your own after you pay dowry. The rest of the money will be used to buy household items like a mattress, chairs, a bed and also repair my house and install a steel door.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having saved my earnings from selling fish and eventually built my own house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have right now is that my wife died and left me with three young children, I therefore have to look after them and also go fishing in the lake, this means I sometimes leave them in the homestead alone. This is not safe for them but there is nothing I can do about it.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is around midday when I get back from the lake and find all my children safe. I am happy because I know I can take personal care of them and they will not be alone.
