What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing a solar lantern to avoid buying parrafin everytime, bought two dairy cows to get milk and offsprings that I would sell to take care of emergencies and spent most of the transfers on fixing steel doors and windows in the new house built using the previous transfers.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I don't buy parrafin anymore since I managed to purchase a solar lantern for lighting purposes which would not have been possible without the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did a good job by uplifting the living standard of the poor people in our community by giving out unconditional cash transfers.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I'm planning to spend my transfer on iron sheets and sand in order to build a better house. I am also planning to buy some livestock which I can rear and sell milk to get some income.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is buying a few livestock using money I got from the sale of maize which I grew in my farm.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is living without a steady stream of income, because I depend on farming and most of the time the harvest is poor.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am working in the farm or looking after the few livestock I have.
