How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now better than before because, i was able to saved all of my transfer and build a decent house with zinc for my family. Givedirectly have brought joy to my family life. I am no more in worry like before especially doing the raining season were in, i am in the brush cuting grass to cover my leaking house. Thanks to givedirectly for the money.

I appreciate Givedirectly for the money. Everything went well and i am the happiest receipents in my community.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been working very hard to earn enough money and complete my house project. Nonetheless, I could not achieve my goal due to low income. Out of a sudden, I received my recent transfer as promised by GiveDirectly. I immediately purchased building materials such as zinc, nails, wood etc..for the completion of my new house. My life has improved immensely within the last couple of months. Thanks to GiveDirectly for this golden opportunity.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
From my own understanding, GiveDirectly has been very honest in delivering cash to poor people like us. I am very much overwhelmed with joy to be part of this program. GD has done nothing wrong thus far.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I needed money to complete my house project. Hence, when I received my recent transfer, I bought 3 more bundles of zinc ($33,000LD) to roof my house. Portion of my transfer was also used to buy 2 cartons of zinc nails and mixed nails for the completion of my new house. My balance money was used to purchase gasoline and pay sawyer to produce enough plank for the completion of my house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My husband was having the phone in Monrovia, when he received the message with a huge amount of money in it. He quickly called me to inform me that the money has come. I was so happy hearing the good news. In our whole life we haven't received such of money for free without paying back. Before than my husband and I make cassava farm for living. Our income was very low to accomplish our plan. Really our plan was to build our own house in my and send my children to school. But my children is not in school because we never had money to paid their school fees. And my husband and I lived in my family's house. I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for their support. Because now able going to build mu owned house for my family.

The biggest difference in my daily life now is I'm able to buy starts my building project

What does receiving this money mean to you?
" My family and I live in a room in my parents house,we do not have a house on our own. We depend on farming to survive. If I received the transfer from GiveDirectly, I want to build my family house with potion of the money and establish a business to support my family."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"I am excited that my baby is healthy. My second child was a premature baby. I kept her in door for three months before taking her outside. She was sickly but I'm grateful that she is well now, she is eight months old."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The biggest hardship my family is currently facing is finance. I dropped out of school since 2018, I want to go back to school but I do not have any money to pay my school fees. I also want to send my son to school but I do not have money."
