Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I don't have an additional goal but I will keep using the money on farming. I want to buy beans seeds and crow the crop on the farm that I leased. I intend to keep doing this so that I get money for my education come September.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I spent the money I received on farming and I just got a harvest of maize. I leased a piece of land and bought seeds and fertilizers for the maize crop. I have stored the grains for sale in the future as soon as the prices go up. I will make money from the maize and spend it on school fees for my college education. I am set to start the course soon because I already have money on farm products.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to have joined the Kenya Medical Training College. I hope to become a nurse and improve my life later when I get employed. Joining college will be the biggest chance that I will have taken to having a good life. The money I am receiving from GiveDireclty is what I am using to accumulated money for fees, meaning that these transfers are the key reason why I will have a career in this life. Thank you so much for these transfers.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I don't depend on my parents for my little personal needs that I can now buy for myself. I am happy to be able to do things for myself especially that now am a grown-up lady. It was uncomfortable for me to ask for all the small things from my parents. The future looks brighter since I see the possibility to pursue education and become a teacher. This will be possible because of the savings I make with every transfer and make a career for myself.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I intend to join a college and start a course as a teacher. I am currently saving in a merry go round group in order to pay fees and other educational costs at the beginning of next year.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the income that I generate from farming. I get to meet my daily needs because I always have money that I make from selling crop produce. I have invested in kale farming and now doing maize farming. Both of these ventures are only on because I got money to buy inputs from GiveDirectly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I will have joined a college to train as a teacher. My one goal in life that I have worked towards for a long time, will have come true. I will be working so hard to do well and pass my exams so that I will easily get a job and begin to work earning a constant income from my salary.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different in that I no longer rely entirely on my parents for everything. With GiveDirectly transfers, I have also been able to have a clear plan on what I want to do with the money. I am now a large scale farmer and this has equally made me so proud. I generally have more peace of mind than I had four months a go.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I cleared my secondary education and passed my exams very well. I however was not able to proceed to tertiary levels of education due to financial difficulties. My dream was to become a teacher and that dream has not yet faded away. In the next four months, I shall have joined the college of my choice to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. This has been made possible through the GiveDirectly transfers that have enabled me to make more money through farming. I know I might not be able to raise the money on my own but I will definitely get support from my parents in paying school fees and meeting other expenses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Through GiveDirectly transfers, I have been able to lease land and put it under cultivation. Before, I was a small scale farmer and I mainly did subsistence agriculture. I am now a large scale farmer and this has seen me have more income of my own that has enabled me to make decisions on what I want to use my money on. I no longer depend on other people to get support on everything like I used to do before. I am more self reliant and this gives me much pride in myself and is equally a motivation to keep working hard.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
During my years in secondary education, my parents could not afford to pay all the school fees that was required because they din't have a steady source of income. This meant that I finished my secondary educationa with quite alot of arrears pending payment and release if certificate. So when I started receiving the transfer from Givedirectly, I paid the arrears in bits and right now I cleared and I now have a Kenya Secondary School Certificate and ready to ho to college. I am also currently a livestock farmer. I have managed to buy some chicken and sheep for rearingbwhich I did not have before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I have always wanted to be a teacher in my life, I even worked as an untrained teacher in our local primary school, therefore I am planning to go to a teachers' college to make my dream com trues and continue with the passion of teaching.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that I am more hopeful about the future and this makes me so happy. The thought that I am finally going to college with the savings that I am making with the aid of the transfer from Givedirectltly is enough to brighten my day up. We also have enough food and basic requirements at home. The cash that we receive each month has been a blessing to us and we are so grateful for Givedirectly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect that in the near future, I will be continuing in the teachers college and that my chicken and sheep will be doing well and will have increased in numbers.I also expect to have built my parents a nice house since the one we are living in now is quite small and old. This will also improve our lifestyle and standard of living as a family.
