How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different now than it would have been had I missed the cash transfers. I was miserable and desperate. Hunger was our major concern, however GiveDirectly saved us when we received the cash transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well in giving people money that has transformed our lives. However there is nothing that GiveDirectly has not done well so far.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 800,000 ugx to purchase a cow and 200,000 ugx to pay for my grand children's school fees. I also lent out 500,000 ugx to a community member. Then I spent the balance on feeding my family.
