What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means a lot to me. This money will help so many areas of my life. I need iron sheets for my house, when the wind blows and it rains, our clothes and maize meal gets soaked. This money would also allow me to buy food to feed my family so that they do not go hungry for a day. Another thing I need is a matress, I would like to sleep comfortably at the end of each day in my home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months, I was happy when my husband was able to bring some money home after his casual labours. We were able afford a proper meal of chicken with some nsima. This made me glad. I have also bought a goat that I hope to breed. This makes me feel like my life is improving.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am facing many problems in my life. I am experiencing frequent hunger as me and my husband cannot always afford food. We stay hungry together with our children. I cannot even afford to buy uniforms for my children nor pencils. My children lack care because me and my husband have no money most of the times.
