What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school dues since am joining an institution to undertake a mechanical engineering course.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I wouldn't be able to join an institution since i had failed to pay school fees and as a result my s.4 results had been confiscated by the school however my life is different because i cleared all the debts from my former school with the transfers i received and got my results so I am joining an institution.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well by giving us the money in Installments as this helps us plan for the money properly.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on paying my school fees balance of 1500000 in the school I have been studying. And the balance will be used for next terms fees when I go for a course
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is that I now feel free that I have school fees for my course I am going to study when my ordinary level exams are released

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Well, building materials, mattress, and clothes! I used this first transfer to buy building materials as my preparation for house construction because I house i have now in leaking and very small. I also bought myself a mattress and clothes and I am happy.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was entering my bed and I saw a mobile money message on my phone from GiveDirectly. I felt so happy, I sweated with much happiness in my heart.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Firstly, i am planning to spend the cash transfer on paying my tuition fees in primary teachers college after passing my Uganda Certificate of Education next year, the balance i will use it to construct a house for myself.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
I did buy two hens that multiplied and am planning to sell some of them to buy a goat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced upto now is school fees and even right now the school is demanding me some money to be cleared before sitting for the final uganda certificate of Education exams.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy in the evening hours when am playing football with my friends.
