What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my third transfer to pay school fees for my children who are in high school. The remaining amount, I spent to buy 20 tins of maize for consumption and also livestock for rearing and also they are like my savings
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have hopes that my children will continue with their education because I invested very well with the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly staff are very respectful and explain really what GD does and also they give good advice on how one can spend the transfers. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer paying school fees for my two children who had been sent home to fetch school fees.The children had stayed home for more than three weeks and was getting worried whether I would really manage to take back to school. I had no hopes at all.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have seen a very big difference in my daily life, my hopes of taking my children back to school were revived once again.

I'm planning to spend my upcoming cash transfer on paying dowry so that I can earn respect among my inlaws. The remaining amount I'll invest on a rice farming project to enable me earn some income.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I would like to use part of the money to expand on farming through doing rice farming to generate income to support my family. Secondly l would wish to buy a cow which will help me incase of any emergency. Finally l would like to pay school fees for my children who are in high school and has fees problem.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is that l have managed to take my children to high school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in life is lack of money to pay school fees for my children which has forced us to sale our livestock in order to pay school fees for my children.

My happiest part of the day is in the morning when fellowshiping together with my fellow christians in church.
