This money will help us afford a better house as we are lacking one currently. The little hut behind the house is where we are sleeping since this one leaks a lot. We now have started making plans to even buy the necessary household items which we were lacking. These include good pots,water buckets, mattress,blankets and clothes.
If these become the leaat of our worries after buying them, then we shall work hard in our gardens to harvest more and use the money for other important activities.
What is the happiest part of your day?
As an old person with my wife, we usually like to stay at home unless something comes up. Otherwise we are either at the garden or home.
Hence the happiest part of my day is each time am home and I get to chat with my wife and grandchildren.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship currently is lack of food. This happens because we rarely harvest enough to last us until the next harvesting season. This leads to long periods of hunger in my household.
In a village like this where everyone is poor, there is no one to ask for assistance so we just sleep on empty stomach at times. This also affect how we search for opportunities to have some money or food for tha day.
