How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Im keeping my 3rd transfer yet. My house got burned during the 2003 war since than it was on my mind to rebuild it but i didnt have momey. When GiveDirectly came to our town and to us we were to receive cash transfer my hope grew. Now i will keep this third transfer itill I get the last transfer so I can rebuild my house. I really didnt have any new goals.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well to give us cash transfesr and this has changed our livelihood. I was able to treat myself with the first transfer, the second to renovate the house I'm in presently and the third and fourth to rebuild my house that got burn. GiveDirectly has done extremely well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Im keeping my most recent transfer to add it to the next transfer to buy my house building materials.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
What I plan to do with the money is to buy zinc to rebuild my house. I am currently living in a family house since my house broke down. Receiving this money from Givedirectly will mean a lot to me because it will be able to help me rebuild my house. Since the death of my husband, life have become so deplorable for me because I am doing everything by myself as a widow.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me happiness or joy in the last six months is seeing myself in good health once again. I was involved in a serious motor bike accident that led to a serious injury on my right foot. I did not Walk on my foot for almost a year. But to see myself walking on my feet and been healthy today, have brought me happiness
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge I'm currently face with is hardship which have to do with lack of money. There are so many days that I can't afford a meal. Sometime I have to do odd jobs just to find food. Getting money to meet up with my basic necessities is a serious problem because I don't have a reliable source of income. I will really appreciate any help I can get to improve my livelihood
