What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchase of a bull (20,000 KES), materials for construction of a kitchen(18,000 KES), secondary school fee (7,500 KES) and also a water storage tank
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am currently using the bull I bought to support me in land preparation activities and my work is easier. Besides, I am able to prepare a larger portion of land and from which I expect an improved harvest and enough to eat. Two I expect to soon have a kitchen that will ease space pressure from the main house since I will be able to decongest it. Thank you GD for making all these things possible.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GD has changed our lives dramatically, from nowhere to somewhere, from nothing to something, and those of us who planned well have seen GD’s goodness. I also laud the fact that GD did not take away phones from people who became ineligible after Registration.
