What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying workers to cultivate my parcel of land, invested some amount on a cattle selling business to get income and bought food for the family consumption. I also paid my own dowry and used most of the transfer on purchasing a dairy cow with an intention of getting milk that I can use and even sell some to get money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, I own a spacious house built using the second transfer with well furnished seats that are comfortable unlike before where I had to stay in the small house located at my inlaws compound.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was by bringing change in our village through sending money to the recipients who used it in a wise way like building houses and even starting up businesses.

I spent the first transfer on buying a mattress 4,000KES, a blanket 600KES,a bed sheet 500KES and cooking pots 300KES . I also paid cultivation fees 3,300KES and I bought food for my family 1,300KES.

I am planning to spend the upcoming transfer on building a three roomed house because the house am staying in at the moment is a one roomed house that leaks during rainy seasons.

I plan to buy building materials like iron sheets, timber,nails and pay for labour for my house construction.I will do this because my current house is too small.I also plan to expand my farming by buying improved seeds and fertilizers.
