How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different from how it was four months ago in that I have less difficulty in providing for my family the basic needs. We are staying a more happy life and my children too are like my neighbor's children. They no longer put on torn clothes because I bought them new ones using money from Give Directly. I thank Give Directly for having changed my life.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
An additional goal for my life for the next four months is that I am planning to start poultry farming for both domestic and business purposes. I decide on this so that I can have a sustainable source of income. I know very soon we going to stop receiving money from Give Directly, I do not want to go back to my previous sympathetic life.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is that I support my family financially with less difficulty. All the transfers I use on food and clothing this is because this is my major priority. We are eating well and my children are smartly dressed unlike before when I had not started receiving money from Give Directly. I no longer borrow food like before because I now have a reliable source of income. I thank Give Directly for having changed my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I would say I do not expect any change yet because my plan of buying goats I am still working on it by saving the little I remained with from mY monthly transfers, after buying food for my family because they also myst eat well.

My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because my children are now dressing very decently and smart, as compared to before when they putting on very old dresses.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to save and spend the money to buy dairy cow which I have been longing to have and since i like to take milk tea so I will not spending the money to buy milk.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to paying school for my children whithout any difficulties. My children also have very decent and smart as compared to before, when my children did not have a problem,.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I would have achieve my dream of buying cow, I will no longer spend the money to buy milk from my neighbors once, when it gives birth it we save me from spending money to buy milk from the neighbor.

Currently, my life is different in that I am able to budget well in terms of buying uniforms and shoes for my children with the transfer. Today I am a happy father who sees her children wearing decent clothes and shoes which has given them confidence in undertaking their studies. Before I was not able to meet these needs due to the little income I was making and it forced them to put on torn uniforms that lowered their self-esteem when interacting with their classmates.

My new goal is to boost the barbershop which I had started with recently with the transfer to get an extra income and support my needs without relying on relatives and friends who used to underestimate me as a failure.

Previously I depended on casual jobs for a living and the income was meagre which couldn't sustain my family's need. Give Directly's transfer came in handy since with these transfer I am able to budget well in terms of buying uniforms and shoes for my children and the daily upkeep for my family. How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Right now I have a lot of savings in my account which I never had four months ago. The savings have come courtesy of the cash transfers that I normally get from the organization. I am now prepared for what the future may bring in terms of combating financial emergencies or addressing family financial needs.

I am planning to start a small scale business for my business for my wife so that she will also have a source of income that will be able to generate some income for the family that will use to buy food and other household usage.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I think this money has brought a big change in my life in terms of paying school fees for my children. Right now I have already saved some cash that I will to pay school fees for my child who will be joining class eight next year. The savings could also be used to tackle any kind of emergencies that may arise in the future because nobody knows what the future brings.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I have a plan of buying a cow that I will rear into the future and I am very sure that in the future it will give birth to other young calf which I will be ale to sell out whenever I am broke. In addition to that I will be able to get a lot of milk supply from the cow that I will buy in the near future. Getting the milk supply will help me save the cash I would have used to buy the milk from the shops.

Apart from my earlier plans, I would want to buy seats because I do not have nice ones.

Receiving this money has enable us eat well, we now have good clothes and we are generally happy as a family because we can meet our demands in time.

The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving this transfer is that my diet has changed and we eat well with my family. We have never gone without food at all.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is getting money to buy the basic commodities my family needs. Farming is unreliable and getting alternative sources is hectic.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I don't have any part of the day to note as my happiest. In most cases I sink in thoughts of how I can earn a living and what the future holds for me and my family.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend the transfers on construction finishing to fix windows and metallic door for my house. I ran out of cash during construction and so just put a temporary iron door and wire mesh for the windows. I will also spend part on school fees when my daughter who is in class eight will be joining secondary school.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is having a house which I constructed with the little money I earned during my employment as a security guard with BEDROCK Security firm.
