How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Previously, my children used to be sent home for school fees frequently. This really affected their performances but I had no option because my casual job was not generating adequate income. Upon receiving this transfer the biggest difference in my daily life is that I was able to settle the school fees arrears and now my children are confidently going to school with no worries of being sent home for school fees and their performance has improved so well.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal for the next four months is to save money and pay school fees for my children so that they will be able to pursue their dream without any interference.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that before the transfers were sent, I had started constructing a new house for my household members. So upon receiving my transfer this process was fast forwarded. I quickly bought materials and commenced with the construction.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will have finished building my house and moved in already. My children will be attending school comfortable with minimal disruptions.

I expect to have constructed a spacious, decent house in the next six months.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different the way it would have been had I not received the money from GD in that if it wasn't for GD I would be budgeting for grass thatched house which wouldn't have lasted still because I couldn't afford the cost of constructing an iron roof house..
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I have a new goal of buying a cow for rearing as a way of investment and also for it to remind of GD whenever in future.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship in life was the demise of my mother leaving us total orphans in the year 2013 with my sister freshly registered in form one, I had to sacrifice to fend for family and pay her fees without any reliable source of income coupled with multiple of poor harvest seasons.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning because it present a new day to work hard to feed my family. Waking up in the morning offers me new hope and opportunity to be better than what I was the previous day.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Am planning to build a new house as currently am living in a small house that we actually find it difficult with our fast growing daughters.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was moving from my parents homestead to build my own homestead, it is exactly a year since I moved. Having my own compound has given me opportunity to plant beautiful trees and to be able to make own decisions without anyone compromising me.
