How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving this money from GiveDirectly, I was living under a thatch roof which leaks so badly during the time of rain. I have live in such uncomfortable situation for so long. Finding food on a daily basis has been one of the challenges being faced with. When I receive my first transfer from GiveDirectly, I used it to buy zinc and other building materials to build a new house because the previous house is too old. I also bought two bags of rice for my family and I to be eating while we are on our house project.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
From my observations about GiveDirectly, there have been nothing that is not done well by GiveDirectly. GiveDirectly have made so many poor people to have a better future they could never imagine in their lives. I just want to say thank you for the help given to me by GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I receive my recent transfer from Givedirectly, I used it to buy zinc with other materials for building of my house. The house my family and I are staying in for now is not conducive for comfort because it is not safe any more. I also bought two bags of rice for my family to be eating so they can look healthy than ever before because we have been with hungry stomachs for long time.
