How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different as compared to the life I had before receiving this cash since I have now completed my unfinished house which has been built a long time ago..All the past years I never had enough cash to purchase building materials or better yet think about completing the house..So with the Money I was able to buy iron sheets,,doorframes,,windowframes and I have even plastered and cemented it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I feel like givedirectly empowers people through the provision of the cash as everyone is able to make a decision depending on one's needs.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
After receiving my second cash transfer I thought it wise to procure 2 bags of fertilizer since we are approaching the rainy season and I would like to have high yields so that my house remains food secured. I bought 7 bags of maize since my family is a bit small meaning that these bags can take us up to the end of the year. Lastly I bought 2 bags of cement which I used for plastering the remaining side of my house.
