Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life's biggest difference is the over whelming joy, happiness and anxiety of having to sleep on a mattress for the very first time. Since my child hood, I had never slept on a mattress in my own and parents home. Before receiving this money, I slept on a sack that I filled with rice stem husks for a mattress. It was not much comforting but it was better than sleeping on mats.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so very happy. This is because I was going to buy a mattress and sleep on it.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to book twenty irons sheets, and fifteen bags of cement.
I paid Ugx 500000 to school as fees for my son.
I am molding bricks that is almost totaling to Ugx 200000.
I then bought a mattress, water tank and utensils.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means ability to pay school fees for my child in a timely manner. This will create susainability in the household and out side rge household, thus the saying, " educate a child, educate a nation." I have been struggling to pay school fees for my child from the proceeds from farming. This leaves my household with little or no food at household level hence famine.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is after lunch. This is usually the time when most of the children have come back from school, eaten and that start playing. It gives me joy because, games played by children have a lot of meaning and I am able to understand what they are going through and how they feel, hence happiness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my household is having a limited source of income. I have a child who is in senior six. His school fees is more of a burden to me in that any produce that I get through farming goes to pay school fees. This leaves the household with little or no food and income to cater for other demands like medical, clothing, to mention. It's worse if the yields are not high, this brings stress to household members and causes diseases that affect the household further.
