How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Apart from making more profits, my wife is also busy taking care of the business. She is no longer idle.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to purchase a new motorbike for taxi business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my income has increased and I can now easily meet my family's basics needs. My poultry keeping is doing so well and the profits is great.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, hopefully, I will be owning a motorbike. I am saving some money for this particular goal. This will change my life as I will be making more profits from the taxi business.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the solar lamp I managed to buy using the money I received.I had to spend daily on kerosene and this money is going to my savings.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months,my life will be so good. After saving this money I have been spending on kerosene,it will be some good amount that will enable me do something bigger and better.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My current life is different in that I have new furniture for my living room. I am also using a solar lamp and with this I am saving the money I have been spending on kerosene. Were it not GiveDirectly,this could have never happened.
Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
My new goal is to purchase my own motorcycle and not use other peoples. This will make me more independent.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of enough income. I fully depends on riding motorcyle to sustain my family. The bikes are too many hence competition for clients which affect my overal income

The happiest part of my day is in the morning as i wake to fend for my family since i want them to live a comfort life
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Am planning to spend part of my transfer on starting a small business like kiosk for my wife since she is currently unemployed. The rest of the transfer i will spend on buying baby items like shawl for my wife since she is expectant and she is due
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
Buying my own motorcycle is the proudest achievement I have ever had. Before I used to hire bikes so as to ride but since i own mine, I am able to raise enough income for my family
