What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying afew things like goats at 120,000 ugx, household items adding up to 100,000 ugx , Solor at 120,000 ugx, Radio, Clothes, Beddings, paid school fees. I then bought sand, bricks and iron sheets and planning to use it to renovate my house that is in falling state. I then had to use 500,000 ugx for funeral expenses of my mother who passed on
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money to handle most of my financial needs and most especially in helping me manage the funeral expenses of my mother. Then, in my opinion givedirectly has not done anything wrong.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had not recieved the transfer, I would not be happy with this program but since I received, my life is different because I am now in position to repaire my house that it in a terrible state of falling.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
What the joy I had after receiving my first transfer, I am proud because I have purchased twelve iron sheets, five bags of cement, one trip of sand and bricks each for building a permanenet house for my family in order to improve our living conditions. I have also purchased a cow for the purpose of milk production for the household, my family has never been enjoying milk but Givedirectly had given us the opportunity. My children have also got educayion that had been missing hence they are nolonger chased from school because of fees and above all, food shoratage has been a symptom of my family but the family was saved from the hand of famine.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
It was my first time to receive this kind of money in life. I and my family members were equally happy and we had a lonh night. We felt like going straight to withdraw the money but day was not approaching.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Life is already positive because there is hope of sleeping in a permanent house and children are going to start taking milk.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i faced is when i cut my leg while diging in 1983.This was a very hard moment since I never had any money to cater for my treatment. This made me lame up to date.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children have returned back from school safely.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means starting up bussiness, buying livestock and food for my children
