Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money from GD I was very happy and grateful because I knew that some of my day to day problems were going to be solved. The money was going to be very helpful in my life. So many things that I was not able to buy example a mattress I was now going to have.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life and since I started receiving payment from GD is that I am now sleeping on a mattress and not on the floor. I have no job and only have a small business which does not bring in alot of money ,and Because of this I was not been able to buy a mattress. The other difference is that my house now had a roof made of iron sheets, this way when it rains the roof does not leak.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my recent money transfer from GD to buy a mattress, I have bought a mattress so that I have a comfortable place to sleep on. I used to sleep on the floor as I had no money to buy a mattress. I also used my money to buy iron sheets so that I put a new roof on my house. The old roof was made of strolls which is very difficult to stay in mostly in the rainy season because the roof leaks destroying some of my properties. I also used the money to buy maize.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will build a house and buy fertiliser. I want to buy fertiliser because I want to have a crop yield thst can last us all year round. And I want to build house because it is tiring thatching the house oftenly.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest moment for me in these past months is when I gave birth to my baby child.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I do a video show business but recently the business hasn't been doing great. Another challenge is that my farm was weeded a lot and I do not have money to hire labours to help me weed it.
