What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to help pay my son school fees and also to the eye clinic treatment.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Let me first say thank God for life, but I tell you the truth, since I got this eye problem, I've not been happy and nothing else has brought me joy or happiness.
Only today I'm happy because of the phone Givedirectly is giving me and the good news about the cash transfer. I strongly believe that my dream have come to pass because I will have some money to go to hospital for treatment.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"As you can see, I've been facing serious problem with my eyes since 2018 that is leading me to blandness gradually. Since I got ill, I've not been able to go to hospital for checkup because of lack of money. My partner abandoned me with the children in this condition. The only person that I have to help me with little garden inorder to get food is my son Sekou.
