How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
In fact I wouldn't have managed to take back my children to school this term and clear the previous arrears of last term If I never received the transfer from Give Directly. Secondly I would not have managed to construct a houses if it wasn't of Give Directly transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly's did well to send me transfers that have enabled me secure school fees and build a iron roofed house. I have been suffering for a very long time looking for grass to thatch houses year in year out and yet it's very difficult to find grass nowadays. These transfers have improved people's standards of living in terms of dressing, Feeding, construction, start businesses and among others. However, Give Directly has done nothing wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to procure iron sheets for building a house at Ugx 800000. I used ugx 322000 for paying school fees and buying school supplies. I had also borrowed UGX 250000 for brick laying and spent ugx 200000 for purchasing household items. I saved UGX 61000 for future use.
