I spent my second transfer to buy very nice furniture that I did not have before. I have also paid school fees for my son in secondary school using part of the money.

I spent my first transfer on diversifying my small scale fresh fish business(3,000 KES), partial Secondary and primary school fee for my 2 children respectively(3,500 KES) and a bag of dry corn for home consumption (3,500 KES).

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Feeding my large family and paying school fees has been difficult. My main source of income is selling fish and buying them from the fishermen has been costly lately. The cost of living is also high, so it has been difficult to adjust.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the morning when my children are preparing to go to school. As a parent, I feel proud that they are pursuing their education and that their lives will be better than ours.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
It would mean that my children's future are bright because I will use the money to pay their school fees. Going to school is important, our children will get jobs and help us in our old age.
