How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am still gathering my materials to build my house, I do not have a new goal. The cattle business I mentioned in my first interview is also something i am focussing on.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well all the times, what they have done for us has never happened before. They treat us equally and they also show us respect. There is no bad I have heard about.

I have planned to buy additional three bundles of zinc along with four cartoons of nails for tje new house construction. I have also planned to buy a calf to start a cattle business. This will be able to help me get more cows which i will sell to sustain my family and I.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was so excited when I learned that my money has reached my account; I felt a great relief of my problems. I could feel that joy moving in my body as though heavy burden has been lifted off my shoulders. I blessed God for givedirectly for this money. No NGO has been so truthful as compared to Givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before I got this money, I use to sell small, smalll things (petty business) and doing farming but the farm could not produce. Even the hut I live in is not in good condition as you can see. Whenever it rains, I will have to wake up from bed and stand up for the night until the rain ceased. This money will help to get me a new house and improve my business; which has brought so much happiness in my daily life.

"In the last months, I was able to yield a medium harvest from my farmland which I generated funds from to send my children to school, it made me happy and brought joy to my life."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Financial problem. I have a farmland but the bush animals can eat all of my crops before harveat, at the end I don't have sufficient to harvest and sell to generate funds. This is a major challenge in my family now".
