How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Previously I was just a housewife who had no hopes life. Currently, my life has changed since I am self-empowered and independent. I have been able to open a Mpesa shop. With the profits I am getting from this business, it's easier to budget for my family's needs and save as well for other household development projects.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four is to save part of the profits that I am getting in the Mpesa business and use it to build my own homestead. At the moment I am staying in my parent's in-laws homestead. I love my parents in laws but it is always good to own a home for privacy purposes. It earns you respect and peace of mind since you will rarely cross paths with anyone. I am hopeful that one day I will have my homestead and live in harmony with everyone.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
My dream has always been to be an entrepreneur. I never got the chance to be one because I did not have enough capital until Give Directly came into my life. Through their financial assistance, I was able to start a small business. I opened a Mpesa shop. With the profits I get from this business, we are able to budget for my family's needs with ease and save as well. Previously I was just a housewife who had no hopes life. Now my life has changed. I am self-empowered and independent. I enjoy having my own money.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I shall have saved enough money which will necessitate the construction of my homestead that I have always longed for and it never seemed to come to pass due to meagre income or none.
